This is sad. CNN pushed so many conspiracy theories about Melania Trump, the First Lady’s favorability dropped. In actuality, she was recovering from kidney surgery. Again, Melania Trump was recovering from a surgical procedure. Smh.https://twitter.com/joeconchatv/status/1009119691338641408 …

CNN poll shows FLOTUS favorability dropping 6 points in one month following kidney surgery and subsequent conspiracies being pushed regarding her whereabouts even days after reporters spotted her in the West Wing: https://edition.cnn.com/2018/06/19/politics/melania-poll-dip/index.html …

Huh? Which conspiracy theory did I push, and which Murrow award did I win? (The answer to both is "none")

stories that lie about me aren't evidence that i ever promoted a "conspiracy theory" about her. you can look through the text of the TV segment to try to find a "conspiracy theory," but there isn't one. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1806/03/rs.01.html …

I'm talking about a conspiracy theory YOU PROMOTED and DISCUSSED on @ReliableSources - here's the video 1/https://www.cnn.com/videos/tv/2018/06/03/how-the-media-is-covering-melanias-absence-rs.cnn/video/playlists/reliable-sources-highlights/ …

you're misusing the term "conspiracy theory." the segment was about something factual -- her absence from public view. no one espoused a "theory." as i said IN THE SEGMENT, "i think there's a risk of some liberals falling into a conspiracy theory trap here by assuming the worst."

And yet even after several reporters said she was seen in West Wing and at Gold Star function planning - you aired the piece. Textbook definition of a conspiracy theory and fits right in w the anti-Trump narrative at CNN

the story at the time -- an important story -- was that she hadn't been seen by the PUBLIC. you're making a very strange argument here.

She was recovering from kidney surgery which AMA says recovery can take UP to six weeks - she was seen by fellow reporters (eg CNBC) which you dismissed before public at Gold Star event

This is a clever way of making it into a story while claiming you’re just asking if it’s a story.
