Nixon: "Never forget, the press is the enemy. The press is the enemy. The press is the enemy." Trump: "Our Country's biggest enemy is the Fake News so easily promulgated by fools!"https://cnnmon.ie/2sVhq69

Again, we’re falling for the fiction that Trump actually writes all his tweets.

My story noted that the tweet may have been written by someone else -- but he's responsible for every word that comes from his presidential accounts

He may be ultimately responsible, but it makes him seem like Superman to present his voice as so ubiquitous.

Trump’s tweets are like medieval Europe’s church bells—they shape our senses and our reality.

But the bells weren’t God, and the tweets aren’t Trump.

That’s like saying we don’t have to listen to what Trump says in a speech because a speech writer wrote it. As long as he is the president, Trumps tweets are presidential words, period.
