The tweet was written by someone else. “Promulgated” is not in Trump’s vocabulary.

My story acknowledged that possibility. But he's still responsible for everything on his account
-
Agreed. I just find it amusing when a word like “promulgated” pops up and it’s wildly inappropriate for Trump. Some tweets are written by Scavino, who called me a “tool” and a “clown” for writing the piece below but he also got Trump to unblock me.https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_597e1d70e4b06b305561d1e7/amp …

Again, we’re falling for the fiction that Trump actually writes all his tweets.
-
My story noted that the tweet may have been written by someone else -- but he's responsible for every word that comes from his presidential accounts
-
He may be ultimately responsible, but it makes him seem like Superman to present his voice as so ubiquitous.
-
Trump’s tweets are like medieval Europe’s church bells—they shape our senses and our reality.
-
But the bells weren’t God, and the tweets aren’t Trump.
-
That’s like saying we don’t have to listen to what Trump says in a speech because a speech writer wrote it. As long as he is the president, Trumps tweets are presidential words, period.

Boy howdy if I had a nickel for every time Trump spoke the word "promulgated"

You’d be broke?

I'm pretty sure I'd somehow find myself in debt

I mean, the thing is, he's right? (It's just that he's calling the wrong news Fake News.)
-
Valid point. I mean Fake News is stuff posted on social media without being looked into. However, Trump attacking legit publications, is attacking Freedom of the Press!
-
I'd wager that Sean Hannity is also Fake News (not ONLY him, but he might be the most flagrant example). Or, at least, much of what he purports to be true that can easily be proven false, also counts.

Good thing North Korea is no longer a threat. Now we can focus on real enemies; our free press and Canada.
