Today is the first time I agree with you. #AnthonyBourdain was a great writer. His shows are wonderful I always watched him. He will be missed

Just makes me sad for his daughter. I have been fighting stage 4 lung, liver, and brain cancer for 6 years. I have a beautiful little 8 year old daughter. I fight for every day I get to see her grow up.

I always felt that Bourdain gave me insight into the common humanness that we all share Breaking bread and talking brought us closer to each other His writing was almost poetic. I feel bad that he suffered a terrible internal pain while doing so much to bring people closer

The only way I can describe his shows is that they were (and still are) infectious...they spur your curiosity in the many places he visited. I loved The Layover, such great snapshots of cities.

His show was one bright spot on an otherwise gray canvass
