Re: MSNBC's non-response to Joy Reid's earlier claim about being hacked: @MattKLewis says they're circling the wagons, "doing what a political campaign would do, not what a media outlet would do..."http://www.snappytv.com/tc/8121053/5655304 …

Why is this full court press against
@JoyAnnReid more precious to you than exposing that piece of shit in the Oval Office. Complicit much? -
I'm a reporter on the media beat. You may hate the president, but that doesn't mean he's the only story in the world. There's time and space for lots of stories. On my program today, the lead was Trump, then a few other stories, then this. You think that's wrong?
-
I think I am watching a bunch of white guys trying to destroy the career of a black woman. I have absolutely noticed the race and gender of the people who are adamant about pushing this as big news. I am not blind. This is not a new thing in America.
-
Yeah just give her a pass. Hypocrisy is the in thing to do. All the kids are doing it.
-
What pass? Pretty sure y'all have been coming at her since December over this same stuff. How is that a pass? Name a white journobro on the left who said some shit 15 years ago that y'all have been attacking for 6 months straight? Then show me tweets of Brian attacking them.

She addressed it on her show, apologized at length. That was over a month ago. LGBTQ community has forgiven her and moved forward. Why are YOU still trying to keep this dead horse alive when there are so many other more current problems to report on/investigate? Not a good look!
-
Other posts were published a few days ago. As I said on the air, someone seems to be weaponuzing her old posts. The hacking claim is still unresolved. Is the hacker still at large?

The mystery that I want to solve is why Brian Stelter and
@CNN aren't covering the news that more than 4,600 people have died in Puerto Rico? -
Did you miss today's "Reliable?" I brought it up during the B block. Did you miss all of this weekend's incredible San Juan live shots by
@leylasantiago too? -
It is quite obvious that several white, male journos are obsessed with a story about a black woman who has a powerful voice in their field. She apologized some time ago. You are being perceived as racist and misogynistic.

Straight white media bros are going to literally be the death of all of us
-
Thank you! I mean there is nothing else these lames could write/talk about. Yeah, we're in trouble.
-
Our country is in the midst of an authoritarian coup but these privileged white male media creeps won’t focus on a national emergency but instead create a false light smear against a competitor. Vile
-
We have a drive-by, sound bite only, junk food media. Ratings, clicks and the almighty dollar are all they care about. Mostly rich, mostly white and out of touch. Couldn't give a shit about about their audience.
-
Exactly! CNN no longer breaks news. It’s nearly 24/7 of rehashed stories covered by a good number of sketchy panelists. I wish they had the talent and bravery to produce truly in depth, investigative, news. Quickies are rarely satisfying and often regretful.
-
They've perfected the "8 pundits on a panel screaming, yelling and insulting each other so that no information and/or news is imparted" model. They have rested their laurels on that f*&ckery.
-
I hold
@brianstelter and@ReliableSources above that norm, since the premise of the program is to shine a light on the press, to hold them accountable for their reporting. In that vein, it's false advertising when it devolves into the usual opinion show.
