Asked & answered. Move on Harvey Levin

Dane, why don't you think this is a legit issue? it seems pretty awful.
-
1- She's addressed it 3x now. 2- Posts are 12-16 years ago. My views have certainly changed so I've got sympathy. 3- she does a TON of good these days 4- Stetler is just ugly in his pursuit of jealousy 5- way bigger issues than 12 yr old blogs
-
I guess. "I was hacked" instead of "I've grown and I apologize" was just dumb. Unforced error.
-
1- she apologized in December 2- she had a full show n 4/28 where she addressed hacking claims, apologized again & explained her past blogs 3- only 2 humans I expect perfection from: Jesus & Duane Allman

So basically it's impossible to get canned at MSNBC ..... Got it. Unless you are a center right personality of course
-
Hugh 'My Son Shills for Scott Pruitt' Hewitt still works there.

Good. I'm so tired of the unashamed bigots and Trump supporters getting away with anything and people piling on the left, who apologize quickly and try to do better.
@JoyAnnReid has proven herself time and again. I'm glad her network is supporting her - 1 more reply

No actually she claimed a hacker wrote those things. Why would she apologize for what a hacker wrote?

Why do people care about this?
-
Most don't. They just want to stir up more faux outrage instead of covering REAL news, like the HUGE death toll in PR or monstrous immigration policies at the border. CNN has become entertainment news.

Alright, enough
@brianstelter We get it. We are over it. It was a decade ago. - 1 more reply

They employ Hugh Hewitt, who doesn't give a fuck about disseminating active, present-day apologia in defense of the worst person in America, so this seems like going above-and-beyond by comparison.

She was almost 40 when she wrote them. That’s hardly an evolution. I can’t be a hypocrite - I’m done with her.

I'm an older guy. Found that shit happens then you die. I sure made some mistakes over my life that I'd give anything to take back. But folks live their life & either remain who they are, turnip & his base, or they grow & don't make the mistakes they were once condemned for.

I point out our penal system. The focus is on punishment. I think it should be rehabilitation. Too many come out of prison a better criminal than when they went in. Much rather save someone, not all can be, if possible bc a rehabilitated person becomes a taxpayer, not an expense.

Cold way to sat that but the more important thought is that a fellow human rejoins our society. A democratic society working & living together is a pretty damn awesome place to be on this little blue planet way out on the edge of the universe.
-
Considering the possibility of what could be "out there", I much prefer to be living & working in a democratic society where we value our human resources above all else.
-
That is an honest and sage response. How can anyone in good faith disagree with you? Cheers!
