Depressing sight at Trump rally in Nashville: adorable young boy, probly about my son's age, pointing iPhone at me & other reporters & snapping pix while screaming "FAKE NEWS!" A child who will grow up believing a free & fair press is the enemy, a bad thing, to be mocked & hated

@juliedavis Terrible that prejudices are passed down to innocent children. The term is wrong, anyway - it's not "fake news", it's "biased news."

The depressing thing, Brian, is that the boy saying "fake news", was correct.

Remember a week ago when Trump calls MS-13 animals and you in the media in full force play a video out of context and say Trump calls immigrants animals knowing full well what you were doing. That’s FAKE NEWS! And you did it on purpose.

That was the most promising part of the event. CNN’s day of being able to lie and distort is coming to an end. The truth about @brianstelter and @CillizzaCNN is obvious to intelligent adults. If young viewers see it too, that’s great for America’s future. Well done young man !

Why do you assume that is what he will grow up believing? Perhaps he, like a large majority of Americans, correctly have lost their faith in the American media because of bias and "picking winners and losers." What have you all done to cause his loss of faith in you?

@HighSierraMan Since CNN has become #FoxNewsForDemocrats, perhaps time to take some responsibility? Those of us seeking news, not 24/7 hectoring and ranting, left and right, are relying on the New York Times. TV news is now in the hands of the ratings-driven invective-spewers.

This reporter you’re quoting also underreported the attendance at the same rally by a factor of 5. I’m not sure I believe her reporting here.

Also worth noting: today, that same reporter was forced to admit the crowd size estimate in her report was off by a factor of *5*. In other words, it was an example of "fake news". Oops.
