President Trump is a liar. This has been well-documented. He misleads the public constantly. But: Not everything he says is a lie. I think we need to keep distinguishing between deflections, exaggerations and straight up lies.http://www.snappytv.com/tc/8062521/5606050 …

Don’t you think it’s a sad state of affairs when we, as a nation, require a sliding scale to determine how much of what our elected leader says is true? I feel like even having a scale, is a green light for Trump to keep lying. There’s no consequences for it in the media.

It's happening more and more. We need a list of those in media calling a LIE A LIE. Nicole Wallace on @DeadlineWH did the other day. I think Tapper has done so but I shouldn't mention names off the top of my head. Need FACTS as it happens

The news just needs to be more blunt about it. Bluntness works. Dont have long drawn out discussions on the things he says. Flat out say what he said was a LIE and tell the actual truth.

Lying is only being called out by media who DONT care about access to Trump. Everyone else is pandering to him, allowing him to brand the moment/situation.

But it isn’t. Not really. Not loudly and consistently in any way that acknowledges that none of this is normal. I no longer have faith in my gov or the free press. Major fails.

People have lives beyond fact checking Trump, eg. jobs, family etc. His lies pollute every thing ! Eg. 50% republicans believe a rampant voter fraud from illegal aliens resulting in stringent voter ID laws, which discourages legal aliens from voting 😡

Of course you agree, this fits your narrative, perfectly. Obama is lovely, but Trump tells only lies. You love one, and the other you despise. You have an objective, a narrative, to push for a buck. You're not a reporter, you're clerk filling an order.
