The essential problem is that Trump is not an island. He 'is' the GOP. That is what the party has become. That is what needs to change.
I have always thought this. No reason for our polling to be off, as was claimed. No reason for Trump to carry MI, PA, & FL the way he did.

What makes you think unlikely? He has nothing left to lose and knows it. GOP in Congress will do nothing. If regular order drops, look out.
