For Hawaii: This timing tracks perfectly with the July 4 holiday. Most of these new cases are not travel related. We can bring these numbers back down if we stick to our plan - masks, distancing, and no unnecessary large gatherings, especially indoors. We can do this. 🤙🏽😷🌈

UPDATE: another single day record, 73 cases of #COVID19 reported today: 68 on Oahu, 5 on Maui. Lt. Gov. Josh Green says what’s even more concerning, the state saw a jump in the # of patients in the ICU, from 3 last week to 10 currently.

Yes we can if only everyone would care enough take it serious !!stop being packed r beaches! Can survive one summer no beach ,might not survive virus!stop.being selfish to not give up summer to save lives ??!

I spoke with a soldier on the phone yesterday stationed in Hawaii. They had did a military exercise with the Tawainese military on base. After the fact they were told almost 150 of the Tawainese soldiers had tested positive. So him and many in his platoon are on quarantine.
