I think we are so used to the lies that we are underestimating how offensive it is to this constitutional process that the President is defending himself primarily by lying about basic facts.

Where do we even begin? The lies multiple times a day and also calls people names, attacks groups of people he swore to protect, rips children out of their parents’ arms with no plans to reunite them, has created trade wars that will harm our economy for generations 1/2

The corruption on display from this administration is stunning. Trump extorted a vulnerable ally, using the leverage of the US government and $400M in desperately needed aid, to enlist them his his disinformation campaign for political gain. Trump must be removed from office.

It’s not only “offensive,” it’s damaging — and it’s intended to be damaging. Trump misses no opportunity to undermine any truth-based and rules-based process, because such processes could serve to limit his power. He accepts no limits.
