The essence of personal identity is the mind. Shouldn’t we talk about people’s identity rather than their sex or gender? Not what people “identify as” but what their true identity is. People’s true identity is not their outward appearance but what the mind involuntarily dictates.

I see you block idiocy. Let me return the compliment.

Please remember you are in a place of comfort and privilege as a man weighing in on this. You could not fathom the amount of abuse and gaslighting these women get. I've been watching this for a little over a year and a half it gets worse every day.

Gay magazine shows solidarity with heterosexual "male lesbians" today over lesbians outraged at this assault on reality and contribution to their erasure. If this were men, you wouldn't waste time on fun little anecdotes and hypotheticals.https://www.pinknews.co.uk/2018/05/03/trans-lib-dem-sarah-brown-twitter-trans-abuse/ …

Mr Paddick, I’m very glad to hear that you don’t propose eradicating sex from the protected classes in the Equality Act, & that you see the issues with “gender”. The single-sex exemptions & definition of homosexuality as based on sex (not gender) are essential to our protection.

The gender identity proponents genuinely believe that MY attractions should be determined by THEIR say-so about their gender. I hope you can see the dangers in that, and how creepy that is.

Your openness to debate is admirable and may get your party a vote tomorrow (if I can get over the misogynistic outpourings of its LGTBLD account )

Sounds very sensible. Ppl will try to tell you "transgender" has nothing to do with stereotypes (aka gender). 1) clue is in the name. 2) What is it's basis then? Why should "gender identity" be a protected characteristic?
