.@EmilyThornberry confirms on #Marr that @UKLabour are determined that the U.K. will leave the EU, come what may. If YOU want to decide whether to accept the deal @theresa_may is cooking-up with Brussels, you need to join & vote @LibDems.
You don't get it. The UK popular vote is now in favour of a referendum on the deal - the tide has turned. It is essential that people use local elections to send a message to both major parties that this is what the people want. How does it feel to get an education in politics?

PS the patronising tone of your reply ("how does it feel to get a political education") is yet another reminder of the contempt in which the likes of you metropolitan elite hold the ordinary voter
-
PS I was mimicking your patronising Canute comment but I can’t help it if you don’t recognise irony
-
You see you can't help yourself .... once again patronising "I can't help it if you don't recognise iron" ... and you wonder why ordinary voters reject the establishment

No, it is un-elected Lords like your noble self that don't "get" the outcome of a democratic vote ... you just pay lip service to democracy whilst playing the system to achieve what you, the elite, wantpic.twitter.com/Ke9XkV51JW

I joined the police at 18 as a Constable, spent 30 years serving the public, live in a flat above a Tesco in Elephant & Castle. Elite?
-
You are now an appointed un-elected peer ... that makes you elite
-
Never mind the 1% there are only ~800 peers in the House of Lords out of a population of ~66M that is a very, very select group of only 0.001% of the population
