RESIGNATION FROM @LGBTLD. In an ill-thought-through response to criticism that politicians were failing to engage, I inadvertently broke a promise I had made to @LGBTLD. This placed them in a difficult position. As a result I decided it was best for me to resign from @LGBTLD.

@Womans_Place_UK had "genuinely-held concerns" I did not intend to convey that I agreed with those concerns or that they were justified - I have yet to form an opinion.
