I'm no longer prepared to discuss substantive trans issues online. I am having face-to-face meetings offline. There are too many people, deliberately or otherwise, trying to get me to say something they can use against me or deliberately misinterpreting what I say. Still learning

There's your problem, Brian. It's not just "trans issues", it's women's issues, it's gay and lesbian issues, it's children's issues. Never before has there been a civil rights movement that REMOVES rights from others. This is white male colonization and chauvinism.

There is not a single feminist or gender critical person that wants to see trans people harmed or ostracized. Hateful rhetoric from bigots cannot be remedied by legislating unreality, erasing sex-based protections, allowing the homophobic aspects of trans ideology to flourish

under the authority of the state. Look at how quickly trans activists like @MorganeOgerBC have threatened to have women INCARCERATED for knowing humans are sexually dimorphic. This is Orwellian! Men have NOTHING to lose by pretending womanhood is an internal persona.

Hyperbolic statements without factual basis such as this one seem to be exactly what Bryan Paddick rightfully struggles with. No wonder he is confused, uninformed extremists are yelling so loudly about non-issues.

I'm called an uninformed extremist by this man that wanted to "make an example" of a woman that held a sign he didn't like in Canada. Apparently, women losing their rights to protected spaces, scholarships and coherent definitions are non-issues for him.

Unfortunately for him, I've read dozens of his insane tweets and interactions with feminists like @MeghanEMurphy. Telling other men what they want to hear might be an effective tool for people like you and India Willoughby-- but eventually people do catch on, Morgane.

In fact, Morgane, witnessing your targeted harassment of women-- all too common in transgender 'activism' is what inspired me to create this gender critical twitter. There is no misinterpreting. You twice stated facts that weren't true - that women do not acknowledge trans people exist and that there is evidence of violence you couldn't support. You didn't apologise. But you did to a man for daring even to enter into discussion?

Thing is, "listen to both sides" sounds good, but would you have had open-minded face-to-face chats with pro Section 28 activists, for example, who went out of their way to harass gay people and accuse them of being perverts, abusers and paedophiles? Cos that's the equivalent.

I am an lgb person, and it isn't exactly the same, but it is equivalent. And the smeary, "lock up your children" tactics the anti-trans lobby are using are practically identical.

It doesnt help to use a false comparison. It just puts us LGB folk amongst a quagmire that we didnt choose.

It's not a false comparison. And it's up to every LGB person to decide for themselves if they want to help fight for trans rights as trans people have always fought for ours, or if they want to fight against trans rights instead, I guess.

The debate, for want of a better word, is hugely different. No lgb people were at the mercy of big pharma, surgery and a life time of medication. You can support trans folk without suggesting our struggle was the same.

It is very well thought out and not at hysterical unlike some of your detractors on here. Do seek information. Many people are depending on you to do so.

Brian people are not wanting to trap you, they just want honesty. Unfortunately many people consider a question to be a trap when the obvious answer to that question challenges their assertions about transgenderism. Perfect example is “what is a woman?”
