Nice one Brian, once again you prove yourself to be a fair impartial man more interested in truth and making our country better than scoring political points. Its the same thought I had during the last GE campaign, when you quit the Lib Dems I hoped you might join Labour. Cheers

I didn’t quit the Lib Dems
-
sorry I stand corrected. I remembered you resigning from your Home Affairs position but was under the false impression you left the party completely. Sorry
-
No worries.

-
In what way exactly?
-
Everybody knows the libdems are yellow tories. 2010 etc
-
Tory stooges don’t stand-up for Jeremy Corbyn when he’s unfairly attacked & I was not part of the coalition government
-
True! Respect!!

Are the newspapers so short of actual stuff to criticise Corbyn for that they have to make it up?? Or are they too lazy to analyse anything any more.
-
Yes to both questions.

Which meting? Which "extremist?" Who else was there?
-
At a meeting organised by ‘Stand Up To Racism’ in Deptford, Shakeel Begg spoke.
@jeremycorbyn & I spoke in Parliament at a meeting organised by MEND. -
But, by tweeting an image of Jeremy Corbyn, when you were making your statement, you were implying that he was also at that meeting. Don't you think you ought to amend your statement?

As this was also your "drive for tolerance," didn't you also "give a platform to extremists?"
-
If you don’t understand why that’s not true by now, you never will.
-
He wasn't. The Times published the story with the photo of Corbyn,
@brianpaddick tweeted a correction to the story stating it wasn't true. As part of the correction the original 'story' was attached as context. -
Maybe he should have made that clearer. Perhaps he should have included the words: "Corbyn was not at the meeting and is not giving any platform to extremists." I don't know....just pointing it out. I am not the only one to read it the same way.
-
Easily misread, have done it myself, I too am sick of the misrepresentation of Corbyn, and I'm not a labourite, so respect your underlying message and passion!!
