#marr @theresa_may says instead of being compelled to abide by EU regulations, we can choose whether we comply. But if we decide not to do as the EU says, our goods won’t be accepted in the EU & we will no longer have a say in what EU regulations will be. How is that good for UK?

As a country it appears we need to accept whatever deal we end up with will be a pale imitation of what we already have. I accept we are leaving, I just wish we had stronger, more dynamic & honest leaders taking charge.

We @LibDems don’t give up that easy. We believe if what you’ve bought doesn’t match the description when you were sold it, you’ve the right to return it. What Brexiteers promised cannot be delivered. The people should decide if they still want Brexit once we know the reality.
