You didn't hear police leaders cause they had no spine at the time. You did hear the fed warning what would happen. Crying wolf and scaremongering apparently. That was during the coalition and YOU didn't listen and share some of the blame for this mess.

Bert Lynch eh? Now we’re going back! Can’t disagree with you but Labour didn’t listen to Federation either, half way through the coalition. No howls of derision when May slammed the Federation. I accept Lib Dems allowed cuts to go too far. I’m sorry but we realise our mistake now

I liked Z Cars as a kid
That's true enough they didn't raise howls of derision. Rather refreshing a politician apologising for a mistake Brian. Rare breed. Thanks for the reply.I'll follow your policies with interest.

Policing ruined under the coalition..
-
Agreed. I contacted my MP (Cable) several times in mid coalition when it became plain cuts were going too far... He basically told me to fuck off & when I said he'd lose my vote he arrogantly told me my only alternative was to vote Tory... He list my vote...

-
Sorry to hear that. As soon as I had some clout, I got them to take this seriously, like £1.2bn extra for policing seriously!
-
I know... Sadly the damage had been done by then for me... I'm afraid the Lib Dems totally misplaced the whole coalition thing... They were far too nice/naive & were totally abused by the Tories...
