Police have lost our trust, says ANDREW MITCHELL???? http://dailym.ai/2DF4bKw via @MailOnline
Andrew Mitchell? Seriously - because he has no grudge or vendetta after a court found he lied over plebgate. How low can Mail online go...

Not a Royal Commission on policing? That would help would it not. I have no axe against service as did very well, but outside a see a much more flavoured view of police in general from what I left.

I would support a Royal Commission

To be fair Brian, they probably need some of each.
-
The police certainly need resources more than the kind of reform suggested in this article. The article is a thinly veiled attack on the most senior officers in the police service so as to include Bob Quick. I am not saying there is no need for any reform in the police service.
-
Oh, certainly. I'm not advocating the nonsense Mitchell spouts in that article. The days of retired Generals and Air Marshals as Commissioners are, thankfully, long gone. Merry Christmas. Floreat florebit!

That’s a bit sanctimonious Brian, have you been on the Christmas sherry
? -
If you’ve never been there, you wouldn’t understand. I’m trying to make the point that continued attacks on the police service as a result of one incident reflect more on the individual than the service.
-
A tad patronising too, how do you know I have never been there ?
