Friend of Green tells me the police got their man after a 9 year vendetta
-
-
You don’t and it wasn’t !
-
It wasnt an error of judgement? Do you mean the watching of 'extreme' porn at work or the denial?
-
No evidence that Green personally watched or downloaded porn at work as illegally alleged by the crooked ex cops who shld now explain why they had confidential Police records of a "no crime committed" case at home and thought publishing that was within the law & proper
#witchhunt -
There are so many factual errors in this tweet that I can’t correct them within the word limit!
-
I meant that Brian didn’t know what ‘friend’ meant as it wasn’t Damian Green that said that to me
-
Which is what I thought you meant, which is why i "liked" your reply i.e. accepted. I apologise for making assumptions about the journalistic term that usually means an unattributable quote from the principal and for the subsequent fallout!

You're wasting your time Brian, they just don't want to hear it. They think the whole thing was a nothingness. We're not stupid, we can see what's going on here, no matter how much Nick & Co try and fudge it
-
Never a waste of time to debate controversial issues where there is no definitive right answer. The facts remain, there was porn found on a computer in DG's office, DG knew it but he said there wasn't and he tried to undermine the character of those who were telling the truth.
-
I agree, should be debated, but only with those who will listen
He was absolutely out of order and should have stepped down sooner tbf

Read this? Mid 20s pages That is a vendetta. Rather like with the Mail à la Kate Maltby? Wow what a coincidence! Also bottom page 32 http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/20140122181138/http://www.levesoninquiry.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Witness-Statement-of-Bob-Quick.pdf …

1. Yes I have 2. A vendetta that kept the porn issue secret for 8 years? 3. Sunday Times thought it relevant to publish something police had kept hidden 4. Lying about not knowing porn was on the computer is stupid and wrong.
-
Gobsmacked by hubris that these politicians seem to think they're fireproof. He accepted the job & presumably thought they'd successfully buried everything. If so close to May didn't tell her or did she know?& did Met play part in hushing? Is there's more? da

Poor Damien. Those pesky police made Green break the ministerial code so he’d be sacked.

Damian Green has brought this on himself, initially by accepting confidential documents from a civil servant in 2008 who had signed the official secrets act. Then he lied.

Had to go before the real truth 'came' out

A friend of Green is no friend of the truth or of the nation.
