If I tweet about Home Affairs, I accept that I have a “duty of care”, a responsibility to represent my party’s view. If I tweet about anything else, I do it in a personal capacity. I can’t be an expert on everything but you can help me be better informed if you stick to facts.

Some facts then: a duty of care is a technical tort law term, and not really what applies. As a LibDem you'd be subject to obligations under their code of conduct? That mentions and includes e-comms, actions in a personal capacity and requires acting in the party’s best interests
