Visa free does not mean you don’t have to explain why you are in the U.K., how long you intend to stay, how you will support yourself, fill in an entry form etc. Will that be done after Brexit at the Irish border or the border between NI & the rest of the U.K.?

Neither, in the same way that British Nationals who are not EU citizens don't need to when they move from NI to RoI.
