If @BrianPaddick cannot see the imbalance in the insults, the threats, the intimidation and the lawfare, to get people sacked, there's no hope for him. Same goes for @PhilipPullman if he steadfastly maintains neutrality in a time of moral crisis. There's an old saying about that.https://twitter.com/MsHelenWatts/status/1053196246419193857 …

It works like this: if you’re gender critical, you’ll be less aware of the attacks on trans activists & vice versa. I’ve felt the heat from both sides at different times. Any threat, intimidation, harassment or violence is unacceptable, no matter who it’s from. Not taking sides.

I am very aware of language used and criticisms levelled by the gender critical of trans activists, and vice versa.
@Skepticat_UK's case is emblematic. Sure, she's used some strong language. But she was beaten up in an unprovoked attack at Speakers Corner. Then the lies began. /11 reply 1 retweet 1 like -
Replying to @rdrake98 @brianpaddick and
The inability of any trans activists to admit the attackers in this case were unprovoked speaks of a deep malaise. There's also the symbolism. Speakers Corner. Think about it. Take sides against this deceptive, vindictive movement which aims to strong-arm dissenters into silence.

Actually Brian Paddick I make it my business to look for attacks on trans activists. I do see them and I’ve even made a page of them here. Funnily enough I see no attempts by misogynist TRAs to stand up to the real bullies though!https://www.peaktrans.org/real-transphobes/ …

(((Richard Drake))) Retweeted WE NEED TO TALK
The organisers of the meeting (attempted debate) Skepticat wanted to attend last year - her first - have recently laid out what led to the attack. Read all this then try to say with a straight face the problem is 50-50. An easy way out and a dishonest one.https://twitter.com/wnttgra/status/1038878211223040001 …

I did not say it was 50-50. I do not have a complete catalogue of every comment made by everyone in this debate.

None of us do. Nobody did in 1940, before the Holocaust had begun in earnest. And some Jews were certainly saying some nasty things about the Nazis. Others preferred to remain silent. Not recognising the gross imbalance was moral dereliction, then and now.https://twitter.com/rdrake98/status/1040208504320139264 …

He replied: "You have to remember, if the Jews resisted, the Nazis took it as a provocation." The DARVO applied to@Skepticat_UK from the start after Speakers Corner a year ago shows the same benighted pattern.0 replies 1 retweet 2 likesThanks.
