I tried to remain neutral to ensure both sides would still be prepared to talk to me. There came a point where I formed a view, which I tested with colleagues. I then waited until I felt I could no longer keep silent. There are still many details to work out. By no means settled.

Why be "neutral" between two arbitrary debating points? Why not look at evidence with an open mind and apply reason and logic to it, without fear of where that might take you?
