Shocking moment this morning when journalists invited by @DavidTCDavies to hear MPs and feminists discuss #GRA issues @HouseofCommons were told MPs asked not to be named - for their own safety. @Womans_Place_UK @Transgendertrd @jameskirkup @Mermaids_Gender

Yup. While the house a Lords refuses to recognise Transmen as men. You have no case. I, WE, will NOT recognise transwomen as women. The ball is in your court.. You have a fight on your hands. Toddle off now and go do some work.
-
This debate is descending into farce.
-
Yes. Things do tend to do that when people ask gaslighters and liers to back up their claims with actual real life actions.
-
I still don’t know what law I was supposed to have “allowed to pass” that prevents trans men inheriting a peerage and a “lier” is a person or object that rests in a horizontal position. I can assure you I don’t tweet lying down! See what I mean about farce!
-
You Sir, are lying face down with your head in the sand. Section 16 of the GRA 2004. Section 16 states: 'The fact that a person's gender has become the acquired gender under this Act (a) does not affect the descent of any peerage or dignity or title of honour.
-
Thanks for that. I didn’t get into the House of Lords until 2013 so I’ll just stick to my first answer. In 2004 I was a cop.
-
Haha... I am still not in the House if Lords and was NEVER a cop..yet I know the law. So that's a pitiful excuse. So when you get your peers to allow transmen to inherit a peerage over their male brothers... Come and tell me about equality.
-
OK, so I’m not in favour of equality because I failed to oppose a law 9 years before I entered Parliament, & because trans men cannot inherit hereditary titles shows I don’t believe in equality for trans people! I think we should start by changing the law for women, don’t you?
