Every single problem with cocaine outlined on
@BBCr4today by the@PoliceChiefs lead on drugs would be resolved if drugs were legalised & regulated (& probably some of the health problems outlined by the addiction expert. The illegality of drugs prevents people from seeking help.) -

For the past few years in London it would seriously be more shocking if someone lit up a cigarette at a house party without permission than if they broke out a line of coke. It is EVERYWHERE here, every young person at work does it every weekend. Madness.

I’ve never been to a dinner party where cocaine has been produced. Most users say they do it once or twice a year & even then they are a small proportion of the population. Depends on the circles you move in I guess.

If they think this is going to play on the conscience or put in fear 'middle class' cocaine users they are sadly deluded. This makes me realise that they are so out of touch.

So true yet the damage being done in funding drug trade violence really does need addressing. We reverse the social acceptability of giving money to violent criminals
