No Mr Paddick the ones who really 'paid the price' were the ones who did and are still suffering the consequences of #austerity

...but you agree with the rest of it, thank you! I accept some have faced hardship as a result of the mistakes the
@LibDems made in Coalition but nothing compared with the hardship they will face if we leave the EU without a deal or with the Chequers (dis)agreement.#PeoplesVote -
I didn't say I agreed with the rest of it Mr Paddick! Very clever sidestep I must say

I'm not interested in feelings, even if your feelings are informed by the snores you hear in the Lords. I'm interested in evidence. You know, that thing you were trained to find back when you were Met?
-
And I'm not interested in yours either but the evidence is, the overwhelming majority of Labour supporters and Trade Unionists want a
#PeoplesVote and@UKLabour refuses to back one "at the moment". Tick tock... -
"Overwhelming majority"? In two polls, maybe (warnings about sample sizes apply). In most places, even our splendiferous newly restored Lambeth Town Hall, the majority isn't massive, and the "wait and sees" are numerous.

The Labour party doesn't exist anymore. The left of UKIP took it over and someone who would be more at home as a UKIP MP is running the party! Shame the likes of

Think they’re gambling with voters’ futures if that’s the case, and they won’t be forgiven. But... Corbyn wants Brexit, he really believes in British jobs for British workers, at any cost. I’m so happy to have joined the Lib Dems.

There is no doubt a temptation in the Lib Dems to pursue "disaster centreism". Its entirely possible that the fallout from Brexit could benefit the centre. If there is even a smell of this, I'm out. Lib Dems should be 100% full out to stop this lunacy now.

We are. period.

Exactly. I know the Labour candidate for a Midlands seat at the next GE. Last week he told me that they don’t really have a Brexit plan (it seems ending FoM is quite important to them though). They are banking on it turning out so bad that they will then be elected.

I have a horrible feeling the government are going to deliver a disastrous brexit, with or without any outside help.

Just going to read what you guys have to offer this country online. But based on this comment and a few more in your feed. Gives me a little hope.

That's exactly what they hope for. Brexit will also enable McDonnell to nationalise without compensation (private business won't be safe). Disaster socialism that would see us reduced to 'developing nation's status within 5 to 10 years.

Mrs May will not have a second vote as it would tear the Conservative party in two. Therefore losing power. The party and power are apparently more important than the country.
