I echo your comment. #PoliceCorruption in the very unit tasked with investigating the same will be a hard concept for many Members of the Public to comprehend. Sadly I'm not surprised but will be pleasantly amazed if a robust investigation is undertaken. Living in hope!

The same DPS who received a complaint about a forensics department and sens the complaint to the very same forensics department for them to cover up themselves. Not an ounce of integrity. But the Met are not alone in DPS PSD cover ups.
-
Agreed. This is a national problem and needs to be addressed.
-
Not sure how it can be addressed when all those in positions capable of dealing with it are sitting on their hands and doing absolutely nothing.
-
I don't know either. Maybe the appropriate select committee could look at the concerns by asking for evidence of PSD malpractice as a start.

https://twitter.com/lamplightercop/status/1021504097277685761?s=21 … This is how it works if DPS don't do their job properly.

Would you all like to deal with
#OperationTiberius now ? The IPCC/IOPC have it, but if you've lost it or had it shredded by accident please ask me for another copy...Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

In fact, the fact the
@metpoliceuk is under more scrutiny in regards to corruption, its a damming reflection of it being more common across forces. I've seen this very much so in respect to@sussex_police@syptweet@kent_police equally burying complaints & IPCC complicity.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

This does not surprise me in the least. Considering my own experience as a Trans Woman that also has a disability being criminalised for attempting to report & expose serious crimes I experienced & witnessed, due to discrimination & corruption. I know it is more common!

I hope they investigate all the deaths in custody that keep happening at Brixton police station too... then keep the families waiting for years for some kind of answers.. The bastards.

Your experience, ?Police officers whose families made appalling allegations against DPS officers were found to have lied by the High court. Decent men and women named and vilified by your Tessa Munt in Parliament, hiding behind Parliamentary privilege.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2044266/Officers-held-CCTV-film-police-race-attack.html …

I have 100% proof that the *new*
@policeconduct@IOPC_Help are corrupt and nothing has changed. The@gmpolice PSD paying them to stop investigation into thier corruption & misconduct sanctioned by@CCIanHopkins
