I’m not discussing the issues. I’m talking about the attitudes of the people engaged with the issues. Sorry if you can’t read.
LOL, well I gave you a couple of legitimate concerns about GRA reform that all the people I know who think you've handled the "debate" incredibly poorly would have no problem with. You painting them as dismissing legitimate concern out of hand is a big part of the problem.
Well you’re completely misinterpreting what I’m saying (why I hate twitter). I’ve deliberately avoided coming down on one side or the other because otherwise people stop talking to you or attack you or both. Some are dismissing others’ concerns out of hand. I’m not one of them.
You should dismiss "concerns" that are rooted in transphobia. There are plenty of legitimate concerns about the scope of GRA reform, but listening to the people who want the whole thing scrapped is why you've had some flak.
Trouble is, I’m naturally curious. Whatever side they’re coming from, if someone appears intelligent but says something unbelievable, I want to understand why on earth they would say such a thing. Listening is not agreeing, it’s trying to understand what makes people tick.
Sorry but your tweet today was nothing more than kicking a hornet's nest. It did nothing to further any debate, position or understanding of GRA. Its only purpose seemed to be to stir things up and get you in peoples mentions again at the expense of trans people's mental health
You’re entitled to your opinion but unfortunately I’m the only one who knows what my real motivation was, which I’ve explained, which was the opposite of what you think. I accept others may interpret if differently, which is why I hate twitter!
I haven't seen any explanation of your motivation other than curiosity. Which kind of proves my point. Today you were that kid in the park who kicked the hornets nest by the playground to see what would happen and not caring which innocent kids nearby got stung.
So you keep saying
