I’m chiefly concerned about ensuring the safety of women and girls against male violence, to be honest.

Brian, it’s not just that. It’s about comfort, peace of mind, dignity and privacy. Not having “woman/girl/female ” forcibly redefined by males to mean nothing. No more right to feel relaxed, comfortable amongst females where we feel vulnerable.

Ironically I’ve met many transgender women who transitioned because they didn’t feel comfortable, have peace of mind, feel relaxed around men. They wanted to be more accepted by other women by becoming a woman. And most say the majority of women accept them as such.

The majority of women probably stay quiet out of fear. We know they’re men. We don’t know how they will react if anything is said. So we shut up and leave them to it. Don’t mistake silence for acceptance please.

"Most say the majority of women...." We can all do that Brian. Unless you've conducted a poll, you are no more in a position to call this than anyone else.
