Effectively allowing people to walk around with cannabis use recreationally -open exchanges with dealers - mission creep toward "whats the point enforcing" mentality - sounds like another concession to BAME gangs on streets - deterring stop search - smoking cannabis openly public

Police officers, Court staff and Prisons officers time & resources are wasted on prosecuting Cannabis offenders.
-
I wonder what the cost is of dealing with the effects of cannabis on peoples mental and emotional health.
-
Dont try that old chestnut officer. That is a myth spread by the anti Cannabis lobby. I dont lecture you & your friends & family about alcohol & tobacco use.
-
I’m not lecturing you, just asking a question. Draw deeper you are far too sensitive.

No it’s not. It’s pretty clear that the focus should be on pay, pensions, safety, police numbers and mental health. Drug misuse is complex, focus on the important stuff not the headline chasing.

We are getting use to police failing to do what job was- crime visiting recording detecting shambles Detection rates 3% Burg Rob - screened allocation on mass- not arresting shoplifters - little acorns big oak trees- Police now unfit for purpose -PC Diversity Political Enforcers
-
Def shouldn't be arresting people for shop theft unless small business. Large corporations can sort the problem out themselves and shouldn't be deciding the priorities of police.

That’s a stupid thing to say. We’ve created an underclass who can do whatever they want without consequence already. We shouldn’t make it policy
