You really should know better. Cyclists no more likely to go through red lights than motor vehicles drivers but pedestrians much more likely to be killed by motor vehicles in such situations (c45 killed pa) Neither acceptable but I know which I want the rule prioritised for.
“The one law” I’m talking about is the apparent hypocrisy of many cyclists complaining (quite rightly) about the bad road behaviour of motorists while behaving badly themselves.

And that's different how to the the apparent hypocrisy of many drivers complaining (quite rightly) about the bad road behaviour of cyclists while behaving badly themselves.

I cycle. I don’t own a car & cant remember the last time I drove in the U.K.
-
Interesting? But it doesn't really answer the question - How come one rule for drivers, constantly complaining about the behaviour of cyclists but total disregard for obeying the rules themselves? It's a generalisation, like your initial tweet.

If you read the thread I’ve answered that one a dozen times. Nothing more to say.

I'm not going to defend cyclists who put others in danger, but I think you're wrong to imply that because some other cyclists ride around like wankers that I can't campaign for my girls to be able to ride around in safety.
-
And I’m not suggesting that at all. I think cyclists should speak out against all kinds of dangerous road behaviour.

You saw some campaigning cyclists on Twitter. You saw some cyclists break the law on the street. Therefore the cycle campaigners on Twitter must be breaking the law?? I hope your evidence and reasoning was more watertight in your police days!

"Complaining ... while behaving badly themselves". So now the story is that the cyclist who cut the red light was complaining about car drivers?
