Or vice versa! Don't be afraid to jump into something a little riskier to experience something outside of a big company comfort zone :)

If you’re considering joining a start up it’s also your responsibility to understand your own appetite for risk and ambiguity. Staff turnover hurts company bottom line. That’s a responsibility of both leadership and employees.

There's just one rule: Stay as long as you want to stay and you're happy and believe in what you do. No matter is it a big company or a startup or whatever. Feeling miserable is not a result of something, it's a choice.

Also don’t ignore the culture of the startup at the early stage. If it’s bad now, it ain’t getting any better later. Call them out on it.

I like this, a lot of people can get overly stressed with the fast past and unstructured startup environment. A jump from a pre-Series A to a Series B or C is a huge difference and can really be better on your mental health and overall well-being.
