Holy shit what a great line.
-
It's not fair. If Liz Warren or Kamala Harris or Amy Bossfromhell had been gay and there at that event instead of Pete, they would have said something more awesome. But the press won't cover that. Total double standard.
-
Good point. Personally, I think this whole thing was a long con by
@PeteButtigieg to set up comebacks to protesters. -
Yeah, because the more obvious reality of a homophobic protester is too hard to believe.

Unshakable
@PeteButtigieg -
That is what I like about him most, his calm demeanor. That quality reminds me of Obama.

Fundamentalist love to use Sodom and Gomorrah but the rest of the story goes, when Lot and his daughters escaped and fled to the hills, the girls were afraid they would die old maids so they liquored up their father and seduced him in order to get pregnant. Incest is good?
-
And they are misunderstanding the meaning of the story. The tale of Sodom and Gomorrah is to warn against not caring for guests. Handy mistranslation became purposeful as people suddenly decided they don't like homosexuality.
-
Actually the point of Sodom & Gomorrah was the carnal depravity going on w/women & men, beastiality,rape,etc. The story of the angels coming to see Lot is a story w/in a story. Sadly, ppl take the same sex lustful acts as actual homosexuality instead of what it really was.
