It’s really shocking just how poor the services are for those of us living with conditions - where services are delivered they’re of the highest quality. The lack of quantity and therefore continuity is the issue: we’re simply storing up a nightmare for years to come 😢😢

Only 1 in 6 people are able to maintain 10% weight loss. The longer you try, the better your success. Add exercise to keep weight down. Relapse prevention measures: support, reward self, reminders, go easy on yourself. Remove temptation from the kitchen.

Great advice from re building an exercise/activity habit once you decide to start. Most important thing is to enjoy it. Set realistic goal & gradually build activity. Share your goals. Think of barriers you might face.

The more opportunities there are to highlight Disease, the greater chance that our message will get through. PD is becoming more prevalent in the ‘Young Onset’ category. Some people are living with PD since their teens. Aged 7 is the earliest diagnosis I’m aware of 😢
