I was deferred during early decision - and then waitlisted during regular decision! - from my first choice. I decided to go to @TuftsUniversity and it was one of the best decisions of my life.
Some prestigious colleges are sending early decision notices today/tomorrow. I know this can seem life or death to students and parents. So: if you were rejected or deferred from your first choice, and life ended up just fine the following years, shout out. Tufts deferred me!

Tufts was my safety, I attended and loved every second of it. I would have been miserable at Dartmouth.

Ha! Tufts deferred me too. Went to Brandeis instead. Lol. If we were at Tufts together you’d be a conservative too. :)
