    It’s amazing that the Supreme Court exempts itself from the Judicial Code other judges must follow.

    A good example of why we need a Code of Judicial Ethics for the Supreme Court. Clarence Thomas should recuse himself from any decisions in areas where his wife has been an activist presence.

    You mean, the Republicans might have passed huge tax cuts for the rich, tried to rip away health care from millions, and steal the Supreme Court, all with only 51 votes? Pretty sure they already did that.

    I think getting rid of the filibuster would be a disaster. Look at the last two years. Who knows where we'd be without it? Hell, I think Reid made a mistake when he exempted some things from it.

    I would love to see them talk about their plan to get rid of the filibuster. Even if the contenders identify one issue as their top priority, it's not like McConnell is going to grant a new Democratic President a honeymoon of any kind.

    I would love to see 2020 contenders or their supporters talk about *issue prioritization* — the president has enormous agenda-setting power but congress inevitably works out the details of the agenda once it is set.
