GOP doesn't understand "reasonable"
Seems perfectly reasonable to me if Joe Biden's position on adding seats to the Court depends on knowing whether GOP truly follows through on jamming Amy Coney Barrett through before the election.

He'd be 100% justified after they stole one of Obama's picks. My only worry is Biden is going to pull the move where he only adds 2 justices to keep conservatives in the majority.

If you assume Trump wins in 2016 anyway, but that McConnell didn't dick around with Garland's seat the court would have only briefly turned to a 5-4 liberal majority. The filling of RBG's becomes less of a question at that point - I'd say you could then assume 5-4 conservative.

There's also a longer term benefit, in making the balance of the SC less susceptible to partisan manipulation by a bad-faith administration. In a 9-seat court, selecting two Justices during a Presidency is a big thing. In a 15-seat court, not so much.
