Dear Brian, I admire your work and your high morality. In Germany we tried to do it back in '12, but failed. Some are meddling with our justice system. I'll do my best to bring this matter to justice. Prohibition of MGM for every children under 18! It's just horrible...

:) I thank you. You don't have to thank me (but of course it feels good ;) to being appreciated) it has to be said. And said many more times. I just can't understand this crime (and child r*pe...) at core is practiced so widely without any consequences... Beyond horrible...

I agree completely. Which is why I'm writing a book about why foreskin is awesome, based on the survey responses of men from around the world. Be sure to tag tour intactivist tweets with

How about government stay out of the private lives of individual families and not ban things, which government tends to do, often, on a regular basis.
-
If the process only involved consenting adults then I would agree with you, but since circumcision primarily involves babies then I vote no.
-
Because babies can take care of themselves? All right , then a newborn can go get a job and change his own diapers then.
-
Try to focus-you seem to be going off topic. Mutilating a babies genitalia regardless of gender is a moral crime which shouldn't be allowed.
-
But it isn’t a moral crime. It’s a “moral crime” if you make to be so. Homosexuality was a “moral crime” at one point in the US. Terms of morality shouldn’t be created by the government. And that is what happens when you legislate morality, the government tells you what’s moral.
-
If the homosexuals mentioned are consenting adults, then it shouldn't be a crime. Children can neither consent nor by definition are adults.
-
If a consenting adult chooses to disfigure or harm themselves in any way imaginable then it obviously shouldn't be considered a crime.
-
I agree with your point about legislating morality however. The first law of nature is self preservation, laws should commence from this.

You seem like you should be a smart guy, yet you feel the need to ask this question. How about you don't cut bits off your kids that don't grow back. If you do then you accept the right of someone else to remove part of your body that doesn't grow back. Like your head.
