This was a multiple choice question (shown below). The way the finding was phrased could be used to imply that the respondents are a bunch of holocaust deniers; whereas they just don't know the exact figure off the top of their heads. http://cc-69bd.kxcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Holocaust-Knowledge-and-Awareness-Study-%E2%80%93-Topline-Results-1-1.pdf …pic.twitter.com/KNngqq5kZn

Absolutely....the use of "believe" implies an active state of denial, as opposed to 1/3 of Americans "don't know how many" Jews were murdered during the Holocaust

The headline seems misleading on an article saying 96 percent believe the genocide happened.

Well in Australia it is something we are educated about from a young age... In there lies the solution to the truth. Teach your kids about the hanus History of the World and not just how the US achieved everything by itself???

how many americans know the number of armenians killed in the armenian genocide. vietnamese killed by us. congolese killed by belgians. palestinians driven from their land and homes by israel. the question is: who controls the narrative.

Disturbing and unsurprising, at a moment when our government has divided families by taking children “for a bath” to concentration camps.

This is partly because of the policy of 'balance'. I.e. When the news presents both sides of an argument as equally valid. See the rise of creationism too
