The goal is to slowly build this up into a written off shoot of Block Digest.
I have written and published the first piece, a massive 30 minute read on the next decade of Bitcoin inspired by Brian Armstrong's garbage Nakamoto piece. I can't finish until tomorrow, but I will publish it broken into pieces as well. (Medium post limits)
Hopefully the rest of the gang likes the idea of this, and after I actually see how they react and what their thoughts are, I would like to try and slowly build this up and open to people outside the Digest gang to cross-post too and build into a nice written content...
...aggregation people can go to and find informational content from the intelligent and honest people in this space without the financial distortions of garbage like Coindesk, Nakamoto, etc. So I hope the brave few enjoy the massive book I wrote, let's see how this goes.
Can you turn this into a newsletter? @SubstackInc works the same as Medium but it has the added functionality of a newsletter. You can also have some paid newsletters with exclusive content and host a podcast on Substack.
Newsletter prevents me from missing posts on Medium.
Personally not interested in the paywall, but will definitely look into it. I just used Medium as an impulsive get off the ground running option. Not at all set on it long term.
Nice article. Only part I disagree with is the dismissal of a new PoW alg in the worst case of social pressure failing to stop the slippery slope of mining centralization -> direct control of governments. If there’s censorship/KYC on the base layer I’m 100% on team New PoW.
By the time we're big enough for that to start happening you have 0% chance of being anything but a tiny fractured minority like Bcash now.
