@brian_armstrong you are crazy, it won't take anywhere near that long
Many will find this crazy, but I think bitcoin could surpass the dollar as reserve currency within 10-15 years.

@brian_armstrong let's make it scale first to buy coffee, then let's talk about reserve currencies.0 retweets 2 likes - View other replies

@gubatron@brian_armstrong IMO: scale down on the payment network expectations. Refocus on Bitcoin's strongest attribute : store-of-value1 retweet 0 likes -
@bergalex it only serves as a value store with price stability, which depends on a mainstream sized market. U need the payment network first0 retweets 1 like - View other replies

@gubatron Mathematically enforced scarcity + unforgeable = great SOV.@DanielKrawisz had nice article on this here : http://nakamotoinstitute.org/mempool/bitcoin-as-a-store-of-value-unit-of-account-and-medium-of-exchange/ …2 retweets 3 likes -
@bergalex@DanielKrawisz technically great SOV becaise of those features, but in the end, "value" is assigned by human perception.0 retweets 0 likes - View other replies

@brian_armstrong not as long as there are politicians and police to enforce laws and encarcerate those who break them. Regulation kills BTC0 retweets 1 like -
@coolbearcjs@brian_armstrong incarcerate* And no. All the regulations, especially the bitlicense, have strengthened bitcoin.0 retweets 1 like -
@pierre_rochard@brian_armstrong strengthened? One opinion. What happened to privacy the great promise of bitcoin?0 retweets 0 likes
