@brian_armstrong thought I was perhaps stating the obvious, the overall trend has been clear for a year or so now

@brian_armstrong Whoa.#BitCoin has first mover and marketing. Compared to some#AltCoins , as a "currency", it's lousy. Sidechains ≠ a fix. -
It's not lousy when you understand that immutability and decentralization are the only thing that matters. It doesn't matter how fast your crapcoin is if someone just rolls back the ledger later.

Hey 2015! Been awhile. Many of my views have, obviously, shifted since then. Pro Tip: A really good TV series will drop in June called “Mr. Robot”. First season will be amazing. Alright. This telephone booth... I mean... time machine’s getting a bit too warm. Gotta run.

@brian_armstrong triumphalism is nice but Bitcoin Core is massively underfunded compared to Stellar / Ripple protocols... cc@gavinandresen -
.
@virtuallylaw@brian_armstrong@gavinandresen while most funding is not core protocol work, bitcoin network effect has large investment. -
@adam3us@brian_armstrong@gavinandresen FWIW I’ve often suggested@Ripple two-way peg XRP to BTC to give their currency actual value... -
@virtuallylaw@adam3us@brian_armstrong@gavinandresen There is no good technical reason for@Ripple to have a currency in the first place. -
@petertoddbtc@virtuallylaw@adam3us@brian_armstrong@gavinandresen@Ripple doesn't xrp have an anti-spam function? -
@MarcHochstein@virtuallylaw@adam3us@brian_armstrong@gavinandresen XRP is good for anti-spam like a flame-thrower is for killing flies. -
@petertoddbtc@virtuallylaw@adam3us@brian_armstrong@gavinandresen Huh. And some folks in Ripple camp call Bitcoin's security overkill... -
@MarcHochstein@virtuallylaw@adam3us@brian_armstrong@gavinandresen Why use a dangerous flame-thrower when a nice, safe, flyswatter works? - 5 more replies

@brian_armstrong We are just entering the Blockchain 2.0 era many exciting new developments. Too early to declare#Bitcoin the winner IMHO -
GTFO we're not even at bitcoin 1.0, and we don't even have bitcoin classified properly. your 2.0 scams can go away
@GoCoinCEO... -

@GoCoinCEO@01101O10 I hope you think paycoin is a scam now. You lost all credibility with those tweets you made in December.

@brian_armstrong And FAR MORE secured than all of the altocins combined over and over again. BTC hash rate 300,000 X that of LTC. Any Qs? -
@BitfuryGeorge It's shocking that the CEO of a Bitcoin mining company does not understand that SHA256 hash is not comparable to Scrypt hash -
@TheRealMage after doing basic adjustment for the difference you will still get a far more secure network using bit coins.. far more! -
@BitfuryGeorge@TheRealMage That's kind of expected. As Bitcoin's marketcap is 50x that of Litecoin's. So security should be 50x more also.
