Volunteering to be a credentialed GOP poll watcher in Fulton County this afternoon monitoring the absentee ballot processing for the runoff election. 👀

This whole process lacks credibility... this operation is optimized for velocity and not integrity. The absentee ballot signature verification is a joke. They won’t let us close enough to see any of the signatures.

From the angle I could observe the absentee ballot signature verification, the workers were barely scrutinizing the signatures. Most didn’t even open the enlarged view and perform a side-by-side comparison. I’m not sure I even saw a single ballot yet set aside for review.

They’re prepping the voting stations in the room next door. No cameras can be seen and the plastic tabs used to secure the machines once they’ve closed them don’t look very secure or even unique to prevent tampering and resealing.

Election workers walking around taking selfie’s... I’m standing behind a metal barrier with a big sign saying “No pictures, no binoculars... if you violate these rules you are subject to immediate removal.”

There were seven people who signed up to be GOP poll watchers from 1-6 today. Only 4 showed up. At 4:30pm, I was the only one left. The @GOP needs to up their ground game exponentially if we’re ever going to compete in these elections again.

The election workers largely seem bored with the process. Most would perform their function until they worked through their batch of ballots then kill time on their cellphones until the next batch was brought to them.

Workers starting to leave... I want to stick around until I see them padlock the ballot packing area

A couple thoughts to close this thread out. There needs to be more bodies here observing. Four people standing 20+ feet from the process with a horrible viewpoint isn’t effective.

There needs to be more scrutiny on the absentee signature verification process. The crew there today was just pushing the ballots through with minimal scrutiny. Ultimately they’re doing the job they are paid to do, but I don’t have faith in them catching fraud.

I think I saw maybe one identification badge. Workers walked in and out of the area freely via gaps in the metal barricades. I doubt anyone would be challenged if they just waltzed in and acted like they belong.

I’m glad I went there today... it was a calm day there. The volume didn’t seem overwhelming for the crew there. They often had a decent pause between batches. ANYONE can be an observer. If you live near the GWCC... please consider being an observer. Don’t wait for others...
