Important: Clear #KRG statement respecting Iraqi Supreme Court's recent decision interpreting Article 1 of the Iraqi constitution and calling for dialogue to resolve all disputes on the basis of the constitution. https://t.co/KJKeH8g1fl?amp=1

Don’t worry, the ‘Zionists treacherous Kurds’ have been dealt with. You Turks should be delighted, Iran’s control is now complete. Congratulations to the AKP for allowing it, I am sure this will be very good for Turkey.

KRG can issue politically right statements, what is more important is 93% of voters eager for an independent Kurdistan and will continue to do so.

Sir @brett_mcgurk if the constitution was implemented as is, we would not seek for independence. This constitution will remain as a document for political propaganda and will never be implemented by Baghdad authorities and you know this very well.

Yes, but please go thru the constitution w/ 2 highlighters; 1 for the Kurds, & a different colour for Iraqis. Highlight the articles each has breached or not implemented. You might need more than1 pen 4 Iraq. Then U will get it! Please do this. U can use it to kick the right ass!

Article 140 is only a national and local referendum to see if people in disputed areas would want to be part of the KRG federal area or not, this was suppose to be done in 2007, this cannot be done when the city is not under full federal control.

Any rhetoric of independence is against the constitution and goes against at least 5 articles which all regions in iraq must abide by, Kurdistan or not. This is what the KRG agreed on in 2005 and the people in Kurdish areas

TKU Moezx, It nds both sides. Iraq reneged on so many articles & made impossible 4 Kurds 2 develop. & membership was VOLUNTARY & elections responsibility of ech state. IndRef NOT a declaration, but desperation @ what gone B4 & mandate 4 dialogue. Attacking kurds UNCONSTITUTIONAL

That's false, the only article that iraq could not implement is article 140 and that's because of KRG influence in certain areas, all disputed areas must be under full federal control for referendums to be carried out

That is absolutely a fraudulent statement!! all disputed areas must be first surveyed "“Do you want your district to become a part of the Kurdistan Region or IFG? IFG does NOT establish an AUTOMATIC jurisdiction over the disputed areas! Let people vote

Until a vote is held, it has to be under fed control. It cant be under KRG and and carry out the vote, the whole point of the vote is to see whether the people want to be with KRG or not. And yes it is automatic, since its the IFG, they can be anywhere on iraqi soil
