Kobani is a predominantly Kurdish area and site of the turning point against ISIS in 2015. This military facility was later critical to the defeat of ISIS’s so-called caliphate. I can't imagine what the men and women who served in this region must be feeling.
So am I. My heart breaks for our former Kurdish allies. I have never been more ashamed of this nation. I pray God protects them, because the US certainly won’t, and now the whole world knows it.
