    I really enjoy noticing people's vocal tics etc. I end up trying to imitate them and pointing them out to other people. Including my own, I just find impressions fascinating.

    Oh I think we've gone through this phase in the US, but in a slightly different way: In the 80s and early 90's, "bad" meant "extremely cool/good"

    That's interesting. In my country (for some reason even I don't get) we started using "Mal" (bad) to signal agreement. "The potato's are SO good" "Maaaal" I have a friend from another latam country who had to get used to us saying this 😁

    Others say "you know what I mean?" after every single question they ever ask. I was more like that until making 3 albums with a sagely sound engineer who would say "Yes Brent, I know what you mean."

    others inexplicably yell "no" when you're about to agree with someone like "no, absolutely!" or "no, that's exactly right" my brain reacts negatively to the "no" and then I have to loop back around when I realize you meant "yes"

    I have a disease where I notice people's vocal tics but if I tell other people about them, they won't be able to unhear them, and if I tell the actual people themselves it'll give them a complex ...but FR some of y'all really do gasp loudly after you do a mid-level chuckle
