    Buddy, Americans gave up the option of pretending not everything is political when they elected an autocrat.

    I'm delighted to read what Basecamp is doing. Especially #1. Good on you, ! This generation seems convinced that everything is political, and life is about politics. It isn't. It never has been. It's an unhealthy mentality and an addiction.

    There’s huge overlap on the Venn diagram between people pushing hard to advance the idea of learning loss and those who love standardized tests. Learning is not uniform. It is different for every human and every subject. It cannot be measured as precisely as these folks imagine.
