The emphasis here is on *browser engine* - ie. layout engine, CSS engine, etc. The GUI is supplied by github.com/browserhtml/br, which could definitely use some love from UX minded contributors. Also production level caching like in Firefox is still not implemented yet.

I was just looking at that now, I was wondering why there was no cursor in the input field, and no hover state. Building the electron BrowserHtml and playing with the input bar spits out all sorts of errors at the moment, I'll see if I can't improve this a bit.

Yeah, tbh I haven't spent a huge amount of time looking at browser.html. Seems to have some interesting ideas, but lacks a ton of polish. But yeah, completely understandable you got them confused - the idea of a 'browser engine' is a challenging thing to communicate.

Thankfully lots of the improvements in Servo are now being backported into Firefox's browser engine - Gecko, so you can get some of the performance benefits today.
