I would suggest ocaml as well (once modular implicts are in). In personally ok with Lwt for parallelism.

I'm super looking forward to algebraic effects as well as implicits! Just need to fork

and give it an Elm-style syntax. Much prefer transparent currying with type annotations separate from the arguments.

I'm pretty happy with Reason syntax. It does the most important thing, indent and format easily.
